G-Plan vintage highboard designed by Lesley Dandy as part of the New Tola collection which launched in 1961. It features tola wood with brass handles and trim, and square wooden legs with gold metal caps. On the top are sliding wooden doors that open to a single shelf on each side, one which is height adjustable and the other which is fixed height. The lower section has a drop-down door with an interior fixed shelf on one side and three dovetailed, book-matched drawers on the other side. In between the hidden storage is open serving or display space. Good vintage condition with wear commensurate with age and use. There are several small cosmetic flaws and a large blemish at the back side of the serving space which could easily be covered by a piece of decor, plus a couple of former repairs that aren't too noticeable.
47.5" wide, 17" deep at the bottom, 11.5" deep at the top, 56.5" high.
