Vintage mid-century modern English walnut sideboard by John Herbert for A. Younger Ltd., made in the U.K. circa late 1960's. It features lovely grain in a medium brown color, raised edges on the sides, a stretcher base with tapered legs, and small brass door and drawer pulls. In the center is a bank of four dovetailed drawers, the top of which is felt-lined and divided for flatware. On each side are double cabinet doors opening to storage space, with a fixed-height shelf on the left and two fixed height shelves on the right, one of which has been partially cut back to allow for bottle and glasses storage. It's in very good vintage condition with some expected wear from age and use. The top has been refinished and looks great!
77.75" long, 18" deep, 28.75" high to the top surface, 29.5" high at the raised edges.
