A striking pair of finely painted Acoma Pueblo pottery jars, each showcasing the bold geometric precision and traditional artistry of this celebrated Southwestern tradition.
The larger jar, signed Jesus M. Rodriguez, features a flaring rim and a dynamic interplay of oxblood red, cream, and black with interlaced diamond motifs and stepped feather patterns around the shoulder. The smaller jar, signed TL, is compact and rounded, painted in crisp black-on-white with concentric bands of triangles, zig-zags, and starburst elements accented by a warm red rim. They date to the late 20th century and exemplify the hallmarks of Acoma pottery, thin walls, finely balanced forms, and intricate, hand-painted decoration drawn from generations of Pueblo design. The Rodriguez pot shows light wear inside the rim and some surface wear on the base near the signature. The TL pot is in excellent vintage condition.

The Rodriguez pot is 5.75” in diameter and 5.5” high.
The TL pot is 4.5” in diameter and 3.75” high.
