Very small, antique five drawer tansu chest. Constructed with wooden nails, some square, some round, likely made in the 1800s. It has metal pulls. The drawers are of varying lengths and depths and it also has two sliding doors with an interior shelf. Very good condition for age, all drawers open and close easily, especially for tansu. This piece would work well sitting on top of other furniture as a chest for small items like jewelry and make-up. It is also well sized for use as an end table or nightstand.
23.25" wide, 11.25" deep, 19" high.
