Fantastic antique monastery solid wood table that seats twelve and has individual drawers at each seat. This rustic table features a trestle base with three pedestals and a stretcher that runs the distance. The placement of the pedestals is perfect to seat six on each side without obstructing leg room. There are also six 12" drawers along each side. This table is perfect for 12, but can squeeze 14 with people on the ends. The top is comprised of five long planks that run the entire length of the table. It is solid wood, possibly a combination of oak, ash and pine, some of the drawer fronts look like oak, some look more like ash. The person from whom we bought it said it was a monk's table, it had belonged to his wife's family for many decades. Because of the large apron, incorporating the drawers, some people's legs will have a tough time fitting underneath. It makes a great dining table, desk for multiple users, craft table etc. It would also be quite a statement piece in a restaurant or coffee shop or commercial space. It was likely made in the late 19th or early 20th century.

136.5" wide, 37.75" deep, 30.75" high.
