Cool pair of vintage ship's lamps, one red and one green. These old kerosene lanterns have a metal plaque near the top. The red one reads Port and the green one is labeled Starboard. They also have the manufacturers info and the patent number, (port patt. 3593, starboard patt. 3494). They were made by Metal Industries Ltd, from Hamilton, Canada. These model lamps were used by the Royal Canadian Navy and were made between 1861-1961.

They could be modified to be wall lamps or sconces. They are original and not electric. They have lots of patina and some rust. Glass is in good shape.
