Set of four teak dining chairs designed by Arne Hovmand-Olsen for Mogens Kold, made in Denmark circa the 1960s. These chairs have minimalist lines and are expertly crafted, with a subtle curve to the backrest, gracefully tapered legs, and stretchers in the front and back. The wood color is darker than most teak and the padded seats are covered in black vinyl. Each chair is stamped on the bottom with the Danish Furniture Makers control logo and "made in Denmark". They're in very good vintage condition, very sturdy and comfortable. Most of the back legs have similar gouges about 3" off the ground. All four chairs have been reupholstered at some point, three in a shiny black vinyl and one a slightly different black matte vinyl. One chair has a small hole in the edge of the vinyl that is not very noticeable.
18.5" wide, 19.25" deep, 29.25" high, 18" seat height.
