1963 oil on canvas painting by Berniece Nelson. Affixed to the back is a label from the 1963 exhibition at the Frye art museum in Seattle. The abstract painting is titled "Edge of the Grove" and the subject is of forested trees. The colors are mostly green and brown with some dark red on a beige background. The wood frame is deeply beveled and has patina and character. Wired and ready to hang.
