Two sections available. The bottom center drawers and upper right bookshelf have already sold. Modular wall unit designed by Børge Mogensen for Karl Andersson & Sonner, Øresund model, made in Sweden. Shown here are three interchangeable units, sold separately or together, each of which consists of a pedestal base underneath either a sliding door cabinet or chest of drawers. There are three different options for the upper bookcase sections. As shown, on the left are two short bookcase pieces, one with sliding glass doors, the other open. In the middle is a bookcase with eight interior shelves behind teak sliding doors, and one the right is an open bookshelf with six shelves. All shelves are fully height adjustable and interchangeable. Behind each door of each cabinet base is another shelf. The base of the center unit has eight drawers. The cabinets are oak and the sliding doors are teak. This was designed in 1955 and made in the late 1950s, one label is still attached to the back and can be partially read. It is very sturdy and well made but shows considerable wear, mostly in the form of fading and chips to the veneer. Each individual piece looks a bit rough, but when the pieces are stacked together they look great from a distance and decent once filled with books and decor.
Total dimensions are 159" wide, 18.25" deep at the bottom sideboard section, 14.25" deep at the top hutch section, 73.5" high. Each individual piece is 53" wide. $3000 for the entire wall unit as shown. $1650 for one interchangeable set.
