This pair of vintage stoneware lamps was designed and produced by the Danish husband and wife team of Lotte and Gunnar Bostlund. They trained in Denmark in the 1940s and emigrated to Canada in the 1952. The wound fiberglass, seemless shade was introduced in the early 60s. The ceramic bases have a great shape and look with a mottled brown and gray color. The spun fiberglass shades are also fantastic, the color is between an off white and a very light beige. They look amazing with the lights on and off. They retain the Bostlund, made in Canada label on the base surrounding the cord.
