Vintage Chinese rosewood carved bench / settee with open fretwork detail and intricate carvings. It is fairly heavy, with Ming style legs. The carving subjects include flowers, leaves, animals and people. It is striking looking unadorned and also looks wonderful with throw pillows. Wood has a dark stain and looks near black.
