Life size native carving out of heavy, dense wood, the figure is holding a carved book "Cigars and Tobacco". It is mostly black with a gold star on the head and muted gold and red trim on the costume. Overall good shape with a chunk of the headress missing and some cracks in the wood, adding character. All one piece, the base and figure are solid wood.
The sculpture is roughly 20" wide and 16" deep and 71" high.
