Celebrating Longacres 1992 silkscreen by Gregory Montgomery. Longacres was a racetrack in Renton, Washington. From 1933 to 1992, it was the home of thoroughbred racing in western Washington. The artist wanted to honor Longacres contribution to racing. This piece features bold, vivid colors of blue, green, red, yellow, purple, and white and black. It features a horse in the foreground and Mt Rainier in the background with poplar trees and the track. Pencil signed lower right. A/P I, titled and dated lower left. Taped on the back is a certificate of authenticity and a brochure of the artists other racetrack artwork. It is double matted with a thin green mat and a wide white mat. The frame is wood with gold trim on the inside. Very good condition with some dings on the frame.
