Ming style intricately carved huanghuali rosewood table with archaic style opposing dragon motifs and central flaming pearl. Highly carved ribbed legs similar to Hu form vessels. The Chinese term huanghuali literally means "yellow flowering pear" wood. It is a member of the rosewood family and is botanically classified as Dalbergia odorifera. Table is double sided and would look fabulous in the middle of a room. Mid 20th century.

55" wide, 19.75" deep, 35.75" high.
