Pair of Asian red lacquered trunks that make excellent accent tables, night stands, or benches. We are not sure if they are antique or just vintage, they do have some patina from age and use. They have beautiful exposed dovetail joints down all four edges. Each side has metal hardware, the sides have handles, the back has hinges and the front has decorative metal work with a latch. The tops open up to reveal plenty of storage space. They have some cracks and imperfections in the paint, commensurate wear for age and use.
Each chest or trunk is 21.75" wide, 21.75" deep, 20" high.
