Conant Ball mid century solid wood dining set consisting of a round dining table with two leaves and six chairs. The round table has a beveled edge and four angled legs and is perfect to seat up to four. With the addition of the leaves it extends to an oval shape to seat six. The table is solid wood, likely maple, stained somewhat darker than usual for maple. The spindle back chairs include two arm chairs and four side chairs. The table and chairs have the Conant Ball Furniture Makers 1852 stamp burned into the bottoms. The design of this set is attributed to Leslie Diamond. Very nice vintage condition. The table has some light marks, very small chips, and scratches that are not very noticeable. Chairs are in nice shape, with a little play in some of the back rests that make them a bit creaky.
Table is not quite perfectly round at 45.5" wide, 45" deep, 29" high. Each leaf adds another 12", so with both leaves it extends to 69.5". Armchairs are 23" wide, side chairs are 18.5" wide at the seat and 20.5" wide at the backrest. All chairs are 20.25" deep, 32.5" high, 17.75" seat height.
