Metal wall hanging signed C. Jere, dated '72. The "Central Park" scene shows a figure sitting on park bench feeding the birds, with trees and a fence, a lamppost and an additional empty park bench. The metal has oxidized over the years, giving it a very cool look. The park benches are mostly red, the trees have a slight green hue, other parts are gold and copper. It is a large art piece and looks great on the wall, it has a lot of depth as the middle section sits out further than the sides. Curtis Jere is a compound nom de plume of artists Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels. The two founders combined pieces of their own names to create the C. Jeré signature. It has a string on the back making hanging very easy. There are also two metal holders built in for hanging if preferred.
48.5" wide, 6.25" deep, 21.5" high.
