Large Curtis Jere signed sculptural wall hanging of a fishing boat with a large net. Made of different metals including brass and copper, it's very detailed, with people, birds, and lots of ship parts. One piece is the boat, named Maria, and the other piece is the metal net, which attaches in a variety of options to the boat. On the back of the boat are welded fasteners for easy attachment to the wall and another metal bracket that holds it at an angle on a flat surface if preferred. Curtis Jere is a compound nom de plume of artists Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels. The two founders combined pieces of their own names to create the C. Jeré signature.
Just the boat measured 30" wide, 6.5" deep, 31" high. Just the net measures 29" wide, 12" deep, 21" high including the hooks. Total measurements depend upon where the net is attached to the boat, the net can add between 12"-22" to the overall width.
