Danish modern teak draw leaf dining table, a beautiful piece that is also quite functional. The draw leaf design is very popular for its ease of use as the built-in leaves can easily be adjusted by one person, with no need to store them in a closet. They simply pull out from underneath the top, which angles out around all sides to hide the leaves for a sleek look. It has sculpted and tapered legs and lovely teak grain and color. The top and leaves have been refinished, but the leaves remain darker than the top due to lack of sun exposure over the years. The table is in very good vintage condition with light wear for age and use, mostly to the legs. It was almost surely made in Denmark, but no maker's marks remain.
55" long, 35.5" wide, 28.75" high, each leaf adds 20.75", so with one leaf it is 75.75" long and fully extended it is 96.5" long.
