Drexel Projection XL full size bed frame. The Projection line by Drexel was designed by John Van Koert in the mid 1950s and this bed is part of a bedroom set stamped 1959. Projection furniture was made with walnut and pecan. Bed frame includes headboard, footboard, metal side rails and three wood slats to support the box spring. The rails are extra long, so this frame accommodates an extra long full size mattress. If you need a regular full size bed, you could just use a regular metal frame instead of the long rails. Very good vintage condition. The headboard has a wear spot in shown in the last picture, other than that area, there is just light wear for age and use.
Overall dimensions are 59.5" wide, 88" deep, 34.75" high. Headboard is 59" wide at the bottom, 55.75" wide near the top, 2" deep, 34.75" high. Foot board is 59.5" wide at the bottom, 55.25" wide at the top, 2" deep, 17" high. Rails are 84" long.
