Mid-Century teak Flip-Flap or Lotus dining table by Dyrlund, made in Denmark. It transforms from spaciously seating four to eight, both in the round. The four hidden leaves slide out from underneath the top and then they "flip flap" open into eight divided sections giving everyone their own section when in the large form. Sections are supported by solid brass hinges. The table in its smaller form shows wear from age and use. The leaves are in better condition as they weren't used as much. This is a very cool table and was designed to impress and to be a functional option for everyday seating and dinner parties.
51.5" diameter when small, 69" diameter when expanded, 28" high.
