Mid century rosewood roll-top desk by Egon Ostergaard for Svensk Mobelindustri, made in Sweden. The barrel top opens to reveal a top compartment with three small drawers and cubbies and a slide-out teak writing surface. Below the writing surface, it features three full length, book-matched drawers with recessed wood pulls and dovetails in the back of the drawers. It sits on legs so your feet fit underneath the desk while sitting in front of it. The top and the upper drawer have locks but the key is missing. The rosewood grain is absolutely beautiful. Several small chips have been patched so that they're not too noticeable. There are also a few other cosmetic blemishes, but it still looks and functions well, especially for a piece from the 1960s.
