SOLD – Egon Ostergaard Teak Mid-Century Roll Top Desk

Egon Ostergaard cylinder roll-top Secretary teak desk, made in Sweden circa 1960s. This is a versatile piece with three large lower drawers, a slide out writing surface, and cubbyholes and small drawers that hide behind a roll top. The look is very much Danish modern with solid teak and teak veneer, square legs and carved wood pulls. It has book matched grain on the front of the rolltop and along the drawer fronts. It does not lock, but the key acts as a pull for the roll top and all drawers and roll top work well. The original label is still attached to the bottom. Good vintage condition with a moderate wear for age and use and some discoloring.

35.5" wide, 18.5" deep, 38.25" high. The pull-out writing desk is 28.5" high and when it is extended the overall depth is 27.25".
