Cool vintage mid-century sideboard made in the U.K. by Elliott's of Newbury circa 1960's. Design cues include rocket-style legs that run up the sides, brass connecting hardware, unique metal pulls and a stretcher base. The front features the striped grain of zebrano wood, while the grain is a bit more subtle but also beautiful on the top and sides. The top has been refinished to enhance the beautiful grain, and it looks great. A pair of doors in the center open to cupboard space with a single adjustable-height, removable shelf. On each side are three dovetailed drawers, with a small felt-lined flatware tray in one drawer. This awesome piece is in very good vintage condition, but still retains a few small flaws expected in a piece of this era.
