Gorgeous vintage Danish modern teak gentleman's chest / dresser by Svend Madsen for Falster, made in Denmark. This piece offers lots of storage in a beautiful package, an exemplary combination of form and function. On the left are eight dovetailed drawers with full-length sculpted teak handles, the top one divided into four sections, and on the right is a tambour door that opens to nine more drawers. The quality on this piece is readily apparent, with beveled front edges, a finished back and a tambour door that looks solid if you don't know better. It's in very good vintage condition with minor cosmetic wear from age and use. The door and drawers open and close very smoothly.
