This Bwana chair and ottoman were designed by Finn Juhl for France & Son in Denmark in the early 60's. The pieces feature solid teak frames and the original black leather upholstery. The top back support is a curved rail which extends beyond the sides, and the very distinctive hand holds at the front of the armrest add interest. The wood frame is in great condition while the black leather shows wear from age and use, most notably a tear in the ottoman and cracking along the front of the seat cushion and ottoman and one arm.
Chair is 34" wide, 35" deep, 35.5" high, seat height is 16".
Ottoman is 25" wide, 18" deep, 16" high.
