Spectacular Brazilian rosewood sideboard designed by Fredrik Kayser for Viken Møbelfabrik, made in Norway circa 1960. Sleek Scandinavian modern design and stunning rosewood grain combine to make this piece a real statement piece. Design features include beveled front edges, rectangular rosewood handles and H-style legs. Four cabinet doors in the front open to a combination of interior drawers and shelves: one long, height-adjustable shelf on the left half, two fixed-height shelves center right, and five felt-lined shallow drawers on the far right. Case is stamped Made in Norway on the bottom. The doors and drawers function smoothly, and the piece is in excellent vintage condition overall. There are a few cosmetic flaws and three of the doors have a very small gap at the top when closed, but the grain is so striking that the small flaws are very noticeable.

86.75" long, 17.25" deep, 32.5" high.
