Set of four afromosia (African teak) and teak dining chairs made in the U.K. by G-Plan circa 1960's. These are from the Brasilia line, designed by Victor Bramwell Wilkins and launched in 1964. They feature afromosia frames with bentwood teak backs curved to echo the architecture of Brasilia, the capital of Brasil. Seats have been newly reupholstered in black vinyl with high density foam and they're quite comfortable. Frames are in good vintage condition with some wear expected from age and use.
18.25" wide at the seat, 18.75" wide at the back, 19" deep, 32.5" high, 18" seat height.
