Two-piece teak wall unit with a four-drawer chest on the bottom and a bookcase cabinet on the top from the "Form Five" line by G-Plan, a range of teak modern furniture in a simple minimalist style designed by R. Bennett and introduced in 1967. It offers beautiful teak veneers, a beveled front case on a plinth base, and a good amount of both storage and display space. The base has cleverly designed sliding doors that are flush at the front and slide behind the other door on special curved tracks, with a removable shelf inside. The cabinet bar piece sits on the top, with swinging doors on the upper cabinet that open to space with a height-adjustable shelf, and a drop-down door on the lower cabinet. It is in very good vintage condition with some expected wear for age and use.
30" wide, 18" deep at the base, 10.5" deep at the top, and 87.25" high. The bottom piece is 28.25" high, and the top section is 59" high.
