Beautiful Danish Modern tall teak sideboard bar, designed by V. B. Wilkins and made in England as part of G-Plan's Fresco Line, circa 1960's. It's a unique piece, taller than most sideboards but shorter than most hutches, with styling details including gorgeous wood rolled handles, contoured stretcher base and long tapered legs. It's a multi-functional one-piece unit offering ample storage space suitable for a dining room, living room, or just about anywhere else in your home. It would make a stylish bar, with a drop front cocktail cabinet with glass shelf upper right. The matching door on the left slides open to a cabinet with wood shelf, and there is a shelf in the open middle space. The lower section incorporates double door cabinets on each side, each with a removeable shelf. At center bottom are three drawers, the top of which is felt lined and segmented for flatware, and all are dovetailed both front and back. Very good vintage condition with some expected wear.
74" wide, 18" deep, 48" high, 28.5" high lower section.
