Beautiful double-sided room divider / wall unit from the Librenza range, made in the U.K. by G-Plan circa late 1950's. It features tola wood veneer, contrasting black door fronts, open shelves, tapered legs and unique brass handles. The back is fully finished for use in the middle of a room, or it could be used against a wall. The upper cabinet doors slide open to space for smaller items, while the lower cabinet includes an adjustable-height shelf that can be removed to accommodate taller items. The lower open shelves are both adjustable and removable, while the upper drawer near the bottom includes a removable felt-lined tray. It is a very cool piece in good vintage condition with some minor wear to the finish from age and use.
37.5" wide, the lower cabinet is 18" deep, the upper cabinet and upper shelf are 12" deep, middle shelves are 9.25" deep, and it is 75" high.
