G-Plan mid 1960s long teak sideboard buffet. Danish Modern style, made in England and designed by V.B. Wilkins for E Gomme as part of G-Plan's Fresco collection. It is long and lovely with ample storage behind double door cabinets on each side. Each cabinet space has an adjustable shelf and the doors have small carved wood pulls. Down the center are four drawers with book-matched fronts and long, carved wood pulls. They are dovetailed both in the front and back and the top drawer is felt lined with removable silverware dividers. It features several subtle touches of elegance and fine craftsmanship, including very slightly rounded edges, tapered legs and a stretcher base. This credenza was recently brought stateside from England.
