G-Plan vintage sideboard designed by Lesley Dandy as part of the New Tola collection which launched in 1961. It features tola wood (African mahogany) with brass handles and trim, gently curved raised back edge, and square wooden legs with gold brass caps. There are three dovetailed drawers on the left, the top one divided for flatware. In the center are two bifold doors that open to storage spaces, each with an adjustable or removable shelf. On the right is a drop-down drawer with a laminate inner surface for protection against liquids, plus another removable shelf. This is a beautiful piece with a bit more flair than many similar sideboards, sure to make a statement. It's in very good vintage condition with some expected wear, mostly to the top, and the handles are somewhat tarnished.
87" long, 18" deep, 30.5" high.
