G-Plan oval teak 'Whale Tail' dining table with hidden butterfly leaf, beautiful from every angle and nicely proportioned. It features a teak top with contrasting afromosia (African teak) trim and stretcher base, elegantly curved at each end into a "whale tail." It seats 6 comfortably and when you need more space the top slides open to reveal the hidden butterfly leaf folded underneath, allowing you to seat 8. Made in the U.K. with a G-Plan red and white label attached to the underside of the leaf that indicates production between 1965 and 1975. It's in good vintage condition with some expected minor wear. The top has been refinished and it looks very nice, really accentuating the beautiful teak wood grain.
