G-Plan Whale Tail oval teak dining table with hidden butterfly leaf, beautiful from every angle and nicely proportioned. It features a teak top with contrasting afromosia (African teak) trim and stretcher base, elegantly curved at each end into a "whale tail." Both the teak and afromosia wood grains are gorgeous. It seats 6 comfortably and when you need more space, the top conveniently opens to reveal the hidden butterfly leaf folded underneath. It simply unfolds to make 18" more space for extra seating. G-Plan red and white label used from 1965-1975 attached to the underside of the leaf, made in England. Good vintage condition with minor wear.
64" without the leaf, 82" wide when extended, 42" deep, 28.5" high.
