A handsome set of two nesting studio pottery pouring bowls by Oregon potter Gil Harrison, circa 1970s. Each piece is hand-thrown in stoneware with a glossy black glaze, accented by speckled and iridescent splashes of purple, bronze, and blue. The practical spouts make them ideal for mixing or serving, while the subtle glaze variations highlight Harrison’s interest in organic surfaces and the uniqueness of each vessel. Stamped with the artist’s mark on the base and accompanied by a brochure about the potter, this set reflects the rustic elegance of Pacific Northwest studio craft traditions. Overall excellent with light surface wear consistent with age and use. The smaller bowl has a small glaze chip on the underside of the spout (not distracting when displayed).

Larger bowl: 10” wide, 9.5” deep, 3.75” high.
Smaller bowl: 7.25” wide, 6.75” deep, 2.75” high.
