Gorgeous Danish walnut round dining table, made in Denmark by Gudme Møbelfabrik and originally purchased at Scan Design in 1983. This is a beautiful table that features clean Danish design, beautiful walnut grain and banding around the edges, and a split pedestal base. It seats four comfortably, six with one leaf and eight with both leaves. It's a very good quality table in very good vintage condition with light wear for age and use. The top and leaves have been refinished and they look great, although there remains some discoloring from a runner blocking sun exposure over the years.
48" diameter, 28.25" high, each leaf adds just over 19", so it extends to an oval to about 67" with one leaf and 86.25" fully extended.
