Hans J. Wegner for Johannes Hansen JH-503 teak dining chairs, also known as "The Chair" or "The Round Chair". These iconic chairs are often copied, but never equaled. They are beautifully crafted with teak frames and leather seats, made in Denmark and distributed in the US by Knoll. They have the burned in makers mark by Johannes Hansen, Copenhagen, Denmark and the paper label from Knoll, dated 1977 (designed in 1949). Chairs are in good vintage condition overall, although each has a crack in the back that has been previously repaired. There is some expected patina and wear to the wood, and several scratches and fading to the leather seats. Two available at $995 each.
Each chair measures 25" wide, 20.75" deep, 30.5" high, 18" seat height.
