Italian antique gilt four-panel wooden room divider / screen that is double-sided. On one side are twelve gold gilt appliques, mostly musical instruments, with gilt borders and narrow mirrored trim on each panel. On the other side are geometric designs of diamonds and rectangles. The background is painted a cream color, and both sides have a lot of character. This is a heavy piece in decent condition for age and use, but it does have a lot of patina. Some of the mirrored pieces are missing, and there are some chips, marks, and scuffs all over. It could be cleaned up, but it has a lot of character as is.
Each panel is about 15.75" wide, so it's about 63" wide total, 2" deep, and 70.75" high, since it is a free-standing unit, the total width will vary depending on the angle of each section. We have it standing up now and it's just over 5'.
