Modern Japanese dresser with 14 drawers and 3 pull out shelves providing lots of storage space appropriate for many applications. This three piece dresser is similar to Japanese tansu as the sections are stacking and feature both drawers and doors. The bottom section has four drawers, the middle section has ten drawers and the top section has two cabinet doors that open to three removable trays or shallow drawers with open handles on the sides and an open section. The wood is light colored and nicely grained, and there is a partial label on the inside written in Japanese. The drawers are dovetailed both on the front and back and they function smoothly. The sculpted drawer pulls are heavily influenced by Danish Modern style. This is a deep piece that allows for so much storage and would look great in a bedroom, office or just about any room. Excellent vintage condition with minor wear, nothing serious.
54" wide, 23.75" deep at the trim along the top, 71.25" high.
