Japanese vintage clothing tansu chest with three small drawers and six full length drawers. This two-piece stacking tansu was expertly constructed with hand-made wood nails, metal handles, and beautiful wood joinery. Note the way the wood between the drawers is cut to fit in the frame. There are key holes behind small metal covers down the center of the front, but no key. The wood is light colored with a rustic look.
47.75" wide, 16" deep, 43.25" high, bottom section is 19.5" high, top section is 23.75" high.
