Amazing Danish teak bar cabinet model SK661 designed by Johannes Andersen for J. Skaaning & Son, made in Denmark circa 1960's. The front features beautiful solid teak and teak veneer with inlaid circular details in a nod to the bottles inside, plus brass foot rail at the bottom. The top flips up to provide a black laminate surface for serving, while the upper back section drops down to become a black laminated work surface. The work area includes nine inset bottle holders of varying size, glass shelves on each end and mirrored backing. The middle section offers three storage cubbies with a single sliding door and removable teak tray, and at the bottom is a full-width door that drops open to reveal another nine bottle holders. There is another row of inlaid circular details on the back, and beautifully sculpted teak door handles complete the look. The bar is a very high-quality piece that's in excellent vintage condition. Included are a pair of matching teak barstools with black vinyl seats, simple yet attractive.
