SOLD – John Stuart Large Mid Century Desk

John Stuart large mid century modern desk featuring walnut top and drawers on a chrome base. At 78" by 36" this is quite a large piece, with plenty of space for two people to work and room for multiple monitors. It is finished on all sides and would look good in the center of the room. Retains the John Stuart, New York, Grand Rapids round badge. John Stuart Inc had high end showrooms in New York and Grand Rapids. They imported furniture from Scandinavia and sold high end American manufactured furniture. It's in very good vintage condition with some uneven fading and minor surface wear on top, as well as minor cosmetic wear to the legs. It is very sturdy and stable, and the drawers work well.
