John Takehara (1929-2009) oxblood crackle-glazed stoneware vessel. This is a large and bulbous wheel-thrown vessel or vase with dissolving oxblood glazes, with a small hole in the top that is about .75" in diameter and an incised mark on the bottom. Very good condition with small chunks out of the bottom which may have been there since its inception. There are a couple of small cosmetic flaws.
15.25" wide, 15.25" deep, 12.5" high.
