Set of two Norfolk Island Pine bowls by artist wood-turner Jonathan Somaoang, made in Hawaii. These bowls have pedestal bases and incredible grain and knots. The smaller of the two is very thin and translucent, the larger is a little thicker and when held up to sunlight is a little translucent.
The small bowl is signed by the artist and dated 2009, it also has the type of wood and Maui etched in the bottom. The larger bowl came with the card in the last picture but is not signed.
Larger bowl is 10.25" in diameter, 8.5" high.
Smaller bowl is 7.5" in diameter, 6.5" high.
