An original McGuire desk and chair with the quality materials and design for which McGuire is known. This desk features a bamboo and oak frame with bronze pulls. It has five drawers that open and close very nicely. Additionally, the top of the desk is covered with gray leather that has a band of gold around the edge. The matching McGuire chair is beautiful and comfortable. It is made of rattan and rawhide and features a nicely padded grey leather seat. The leather on the top of the desk and the seat of the chair match.
In good overall condition for its age. The top of the desk has some noticeable impressions, as if a bowl or cup had been sitting on it for an extended period of time. It also has some small scratches. The rest of the desk has some light surface scratching consistent with age. The desk is without any structural issues. The chair is in very good shape with little wear and a light patina on the leather.
