Pair of large vintage McGuire rattan square side tables with stone slab tops, designed by John McGuire. They feature McGuire's signature rawhide strapping around screw-wedged dowelled joints, ensuring the strength and resilience for which McGuire of San Francisco is renowned. The slab tops are beautiful shades of neutral brown and gold colors, possibly marble or some other kind of stone according to options listed in a vintage McGuire reference book. Both frames retain the McGuire metal badge. The tables are in excellent vintage condition with some expected patina and wear, including scuffs, dings, and scratches. The slab tops have a few small chips on the corners.
