McIntosh mid century teak dining set that consists of an expandable table and four matching chairs. This cleverly designed set features a round table with a butterfly leaf and four matching chairs that slide in and disappear under the table top, up against the table apron. The front legs of the chairs are narrow and the front of the seats are rounded so they fit underneath when pushed in all the way. The seats and backs are padded and covered with the original black vinyl. This set looks amazing and neat and compact, ideal for a small space or just for a desired minimalistic look. The table seats four when round or the top opens in the middle to unfold an incorporated leaf, which transforms it into an oval. Table retains the A.H. McIntosh label. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age.
Round table is 48" diameter, leaf adds 18", so as an oval it is 66" wide, 48" deep, 29.25" high.
Chairs are 19.5" wide in the back and about 15" wide in the front, 28.25" high, 18" seat height.
