Striking desk designed by Milo Baughman in the early 1950's for the Drexel Perspective collection. The Perspective line was made with exotic and beautiful Mindoro wood imported from the Philippines. This piece features a file drawer with built in wood dividers on the left and two drawers on the right. On the upper section, sliding doors with copper finger pulls open to reveal cubbies for additional storage of smaller items. The writing surface is mottled tan vinyl, and the back is finished so it looks great from every angle. It's in very good vintage condition with some expected wear from age and use, including some fading to the first couple of inches of the vinyl.
