Gorgeous pair of "Cooper" mid-century lounge chairs designed by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin, made in the U.S.A. circa 1960's. Unlike so many mid-century lounge chairs these are quite comfortable, an amazing blend of form and function. They feature low-profile walnut frames with beautifully curved spindle backs and tapered legs, eye-catching from any angle. Cushions have been reupholstered in Bernhardt Scatter fabric in color Cactus, a combination of black, greens and blue that generally reads as a dark green. The frames have been cleaned and oiled and are in very good condition with a few minor dings. There are no maker's marks, but they were purchased from the original owner who had reupholstered them once before.

28.5" wide, 28.5" deep, 24" high to back frame, 28" high to back cushion, 16" seat height.
